Summary:
The task of improving the efficiency of MO can be solved by maximum matching of professional duties of health workers with secondary education to those requirements, the execution of which is dictated by modern conditions. In turn, the review of the obstetrics specialists’ role in the direction of increasing self-sufficiency is not possible without recognition of their high importance by the medical community.
