In recent years there has been a tendency to growth of tumors, including malignant ones. The aim of the study was to establish the frequency of detection of basal cell carcinoma of the skin. Material and methods: by descriptive statistics, the structure of detectable forms of basal cell carcinoma of the skin among patients addressed to de-traumatologist in the period from 2002-2015 was analyzed. Results: the nodular form prevailed in the structure of basal cell carcinoma of the skin. Good performance in the treatment had all the recommended methods. However, cryodestruction and electroexcitation are more preferred and easy to use and less expensive. With other clinical types of tumors, it is necessary to pay attention to the primary or recurrence of the process, the localization of the focus and its size. In the nodular type of BCC, the use of PDT, laser erosion, surgical excision is preferred; with ulcerative - surgical method, PDT and LT; with pigmentary - laser-construction, surgical excision, PDT and electroexcision. With combined foci, the best results were achieved with a combination of different methods, depending on the types of foci. Conclusion: the study found a high incidence of nodular form of basal cell carcinoma of the skin. Evaluation of the effectiveness of ongoing treatment activities has shown the effectiveness of all recommended methods with their timely detection, but variations in different treatment methods are possible, taking into account clinical forms.
