Actuality: In modern conditions, taking into account the territorial features of the region, emergency medical advice is of high relevance. Purpose: To study the frequency of involvement of specialists in providing emergency medical advice to the population of the Vologda region for the period from 2014 to 2017. Material and methods: the data of medical documentation on the registration of calls for the provision of emergency medical advice to the population of the Vologda region for the period from 2012 to 2017. Results and discussion: The results of the research showed the highest demand for specialists in the surgical profile, which is justified by the frequency of their involvement in providing emergency medical advice. In 2017, the number of calls of secondary medical personnel by 2.7% surpassed the activities of surgical doctors. Conclusions: Emergency medical care in the Vologda region by 2017 decreased by 1.5 times. At the same time, more than half of the services rendered fell on the disabled population.
