Summary:
Actuality: In connection with the global aging of the population, the problem of providing assistance to the elderly and senile is attracting increasing attention. Modern geriatrics is characterized by a syndromic approach. One of the important syndromes that lead to aggravation of the geriatric status of patients is the syndrome of hypomobility. In the formation of geriatric status, a closed circle of States can be distinguished, consisting of sarcopenia, malnourishment syndrome and hypomobility syndrome, and, accordingly, the metabolic index. With any external or internal exposure within this circle, other pathogenic factors are added, in particular, cardio-vascular deseases, leading to an increased risk of disability and death. Purpose: To study the effect of hypomobility syndrome on socialization and quality of life of older patients with cardiovascular deseases. Material and methods: We have investigated older patients to identify influence of the syndrome hypomobility in the socialization of elderly people. The first part of the study was devoted to the study of the prevalence of hypomobility syndrome among the studied patients with cardiovascular deseases. In the second part of the study, a subjective assessment of the degree of socialization, assessment of depressive syndrome, assessment of quality of life on the EuroQol questionnaire (EQ-5D) was carried out. Results: The role of the influence of the syndrome of hypomobility on the socialization of older patients with diseases of the cardiovascular system is determined. It is shown that with the increase in age, and, accordingly, the presence of the syndrome of hypomobility, a significant subjective decrease in socialization and desire for communication was revealed in connection with the feeling of "muscle weakness". When assessing the depressive syndrome, the maximum number of points was noted in patients aged 71-80 years with the syndrome of hypomobility and with diseases of the cardiovascular system in terms of violation of social ties. Conclusions: The data obtained indicate the need for correction of the syndrome of hypomobility in older patients with diseases of the cardiovascular system to increase the level of socialization. The article proves that the syndrome of hypomobility reduces the degree of independence in everyday life and quality of life
