COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT OF THE INCIDENCE OF PATHOLOGY AMONG PERSONS OF PRE-AGE AND CONSCRIPTION AGE

Summary:
Introduction. The development of a strategy to reduce the prevalence of diseases that limit suitability for military service includes the use of information bases of medical organizations and military commissariats. It is necessary to determine how this information complex is applied for strategic planning in health care. Material and methods. The materials of the study included data on the morbidity of adolescents of Novosibirsk region aged 15-17 years in the period 2012-2017 with an integrated assessment of the indicators of general, primary and dispensed morbidity based on calculations of relative importance factors. According to the data of the Military Medical Commission of the Military Commissariat of the Novosibirsk Region on the results of the medical examination of 285.5 thousand persons of pre-recruitment age and 258.0 thousand persons of conscription age, an analysis of the morbidity limiting the suitability for military service was carried out. The materials of 1204 reports of medical examination of conscripts with determination of the prevalence of pathology were studied in depth. Based on the integration of indicators of all information bases, the importance of the main classes of diseases has been determined. Results. Diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue have been found to be the leading diseases that reduce suitability for military service; endocrine system, eating disorders and metabolic disorders; respiratory organs; blood circulatory systems; eyes and his appendage apparatus; nervous system$ digestive organs; mental disorders and behavior disorders, which make up 92.5% of the total volume of pathology. Accordingly, orthopedic, endocrinological, pulmonological, psychiatric, neurological, cardiological, ophthalmological and gastroenterological services are the priority medical services that determine the strategy of medical care in reducing losses of defence potential. Conclusion. The study made it possible to determine the quantitative significance of certain classes of diseases at different stages of their detection for the comprehensive assessment of the prevalence of pathology among persons of pre-age and conscription age.
