Summary:
Actuality: The unfavorable aging profile is observed in 65 % of people in the Russian Federation. The development of pathologies in the body accelerates the aging of organs and systems. The first signs of premature aging appear on the skin, in the form of wrinkles, angioectasias, and hyperpigmentation. In this regard, it is important to conduct programs for the prevention of premature aging of both the skin and all body systems. Purpose: to study the properties of various nutraceuticals and substances in multi-modal programs for the prevention of premature age-related skin changes. Material and methods: we studied the literature data on search words-nutraceuticals, cellular chronoblockers, age-related skin changes, age, premature aging, multi-modal prevention programs for 2015-2020 in computer databases, PubMed, Elibrary, Ceeol, Medical-Science, JSTOR, Web of Science, Scopus. Results: There is a tendency to hyperpigmentation with age, there is a redistribution of subcutaneous fat in the face, which leads to sagging cheeks, sunken eyes. From the age of 30, hormonal changes in the body also begin, namely, the production of estrogen decreases, which leads to increased dryness of the skin and mucous membranes, a decrease in the number of mucopolysaccharides, and the appearance of telangiectasias. Muscle tissue also undergoes changes: mimic constriction increases, tone decreases, which leads to the formation of wrinkles. Wrinkles, sagging skin, decreased elasticity-all these symptoms are associated with changes in the dermal matrix. Premature age-related changes in the skin are affected by nutrition and consumption of certain nutraceuticals containing substances such as sulfur, beta-alanine, DMAE, lycopene, and others. Conclusions: The use of various classes of bionutraceuticals, in particular, cellular chronoblockers, for the prevention of premature aging is relevant today. Premature aging, including the skin, which can lead to hyperpigmentation, is considered in modern literature from the point of view of a deficit of neurotransmitters. To create multi-modal anti-aging programs for hyperpigmentation, it is necessary to focus on the development of anemic syndrome and hypothyroidism, in addition to carrying out standard cosmetic treatment procedures for this problem. In this regard, it is interesting to further study the properties of effective nutraceuticals for use in preventive geriatric programs.
Keywords review, nutricion, bionutrition, age-related changes of the skin, cellular chronobiology, old age, geriatric syndrome.
