Purpose. to consider the features of the formation of the Federal Register of Tuberculosis Patients (FRTP) and regional monitoring systems for tuberculosis (SMT), the division of the areas of responsibility of these registers, their interaction and the specifics of the goals and objectives they solve. Methods. data from 17 sources of information were analyzed: regulatory documents, the results of the implementation of territorial systems for monitoring tuberculosis. Results. FRTP was introduced as part of the development of one of the 13 subsystems of the Unified State Information System in the field of healthcare as a single database with a WEB-interface. The article describes the functions of the FRTP, describes the features associated with the presence of federal and regional segments of the Register, the opportunities that have emerged as a result of the implementation of FRTP at the national level. The expediency of territorial systems for monitoring tuberculosis, the possibility of their connection with FRTP, the structure and functionality of territorial systems for monitoring tuberculosis are analyzed. Conclusion. The national tuberculosis monitoring system in the Russian Federation operates in the form of three disintegrated systems: FRTP, specialized tuberculosis monitoring systems operating at the regional level in the head tuberculosis institution of the region and on the basis of individual specialized medical organizations, and the regional segment of the Unified State Information System in the field of health care. It is advisable to consider the issue of integrating the information structure of territorial tuberculosis monitoring systems into the corresponding segment of FRBT in the form of a specialized module. A two-tier monitoring system, including the federal segment of the FRBT and the regional segment of the FRTP with an expanded information structure adaptable to the realities of the region of the Russian Federation and / or a specialized medical organization, will optimally ensure comprehensive monitoring of measures to combat tuberculosis.
