Introduction. Large volumes of operations, the use of toxic chemotherapy regimens, the widespread use of targeted and radiation therapy, and a significant proportion of older people, in oncological practice, increase the risk of complications from the cardiovascular system. As part of their prevention, according to clinical recommendations, echocardiography, ultrasound of the vessels of the lower extremities are recognized as effective. Objective: to analyze the effectiveness of the cardiovascular ultrasound examination room in the system of medical care for patients with malignant neoplasms. Materials and methods: outpatient records of patients admitted for 6 months of 2020 in the office of cardiovascular ultrasound studies, ultrasound protocols are analyzed. Analytical and statistical methods with the use of licensed software are used. Results and discussion. A new form of specialized outpatient office for cardiovascular ultrasound studies has been introduced in the ultrasound Department of the cancer center. During 6 months of work, a single doctor of the ultrasound Department of the profile office of cardiovascular ultrasound studies has identified 277 patients with clinically significant diseases of the cardiovascular system, has prevented the occurrence of possible tragic events during the specialized treatment of malignant neoplasms. Conclusions. The implemented form of outpatient diagnostic reception shows high efficiency. The most popular services for the study of the cardiovascular system are: echocardiography and ultrasound duplex scanning of the veins of the lower extremities. It is necessary to open an additional number of offices according to the organizational form proposed by us, to develop optimal volumes of work of doctors in these offices and a routing scheme for specialized patients.
