Summary:
continues to attract the attention of many researchers. Publications on this issue have accumulated quite a bit of data on the impact of environmental data on the health of the population in general and cancer in particular. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), adverse environmental conditions cause from 25 to 33% of diseases. The issues of environmental pollution and its impact on the quality of life of the population are considered in the studies of many scientists. Objective: to study the environmental processes that affect the health indicators of the population of the Krasnodar Territory. Materials and methods. The paper studied environmental factors that affect the development of malignant neoplasms in the Krasnodar Territory. For this purpose, the data of the Rospotrebnadzor of the Krasnodar Territory on the sanitary and epidemiological situation were used. Statistical and analytical methods were used. Results. To date, the Krasnodar Territory has developed a difficult environmental situation. Despite the reduction in the discharge of pollutants into the environment in recent years, the region is experiencing a large anthropogenic load. The largest source of atmospheric pollution is the transport complex: road, sea, rail, air and river transport. The Krasnodar Territory is characterized by a significant number of industrial, agricultural and housing and communal facilities, the emissions of which form the quantitative and qualitative composition of pollution of water supply sources, which further affects the quality of drinking water and the level of morbidity associated with this factor. Conclusion. In the Krasnodar Territory, the prevalence of diseases, including malignant neoplasms, is affected by a complex set of environmental factors: the growing rate of environmental pollution has led to the degradation of individual ecosystems and the emergence of complex environmental problems, a significant number of industrial, agricultural and housing and communal facilities, whose emissions form the quantitative and qualitative composition of pollution of water sources, which further affects the quality of drinking water and the level of morbidity associated with this factor. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), adverse environmental conditions cause from 25 to 33% of diseases.
