Summary:
This article is devoted to information on the morbidity of the child population with a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the GBUZ DGP No. 125 DZM of the North-Eastern Administrative District in 2020-2021, prepared as part of the project for primary care specialists "Scientific Laboratory "Moscow Polyclinic". The author presents detailed information and analytical materials on the incidence of COVID-19 among children. The article analyzes statistical data in the structure of children's morbidity with a new coronavirus infection.
The purpose of the study is to establish the features and main trends in the incidence of COVID-19 among the child population in the GBUZ DGP No. 125 DZM of the North-Eastern Administrative District.
Materials and methods. The method of descriptive statistics was used to analyze data in the citywide system of registration and accounting of infectious and parasitic diseases in Moscow in the automated information system (AIS) "ORUIB" (Department of Registration and Accounting of Infectious Diseases) "COVID-19" and the information system "Register of patients COVID-19 Moscow" (IS RBC) for the period from 2020-2021.
Results. The analysis of statistical data in the Children's City Polyclinic No. 125 of the Moscow Department of Health on the incidence of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) among the children's population showed that the incidence in 2021 is 19.4% higher compared to 2020. In most children, the disease is asymptomatic or mild, severe course is observed on average less than 1% of cases of COVID-19 in children. Older children, more than 50%, are most often infected with a new coronavirus infection. In boys, coronavirus infection was registered 61.3% more often than in girls. The lowest incidence rate was registered in the Severny district of 19%, with the lowest population density.
Conclusion. Optimization of epidemiological surveillance and prevention of new coronavirus infection among children is a priority in the fight against this infection.
