Summary:
Relevance. Osteoarthritis (deforming osteoarthritis, osteoarthritis- OA) is a degenerative–dystrophic joint disease with gradual destruction of cartilage and proliferation of bone tissue and manifests itself in all age groups of the population. OA occupies one of the leading places in the structure of morbidity among the pathology of the musculoskeletal system. In terms of importance, osteoarthritis is one of the main causes of temporary disability and disability, but currently it is not defined as a socially significant disease, in fact being such. The importance of analyzing epidemiological indicators of the prevalence of osteoarthritis is determined by significant losses in the economic, social, psychological spheres and a decrease in the quality of life of the patient. The analysis of prevalence and morbidity makes it possible to predict costs and plan volumes for specialized and high-tech care in the medium term. The purpose of the study: to analyze the incidence, prevalence, surgical activity, including with the use of high-tech care, postoperative complications, postoperative lethality of arthrosis according to the federal statistical observation forms for the analysis of indicators for various age groups in order to predict the costs of VMP. Material and methods. The analysis of 85 subjects of Russia according to forms 12 and 14 of the federal statistical observation from 2017 to 2021 was carried out. The Federal statistical observation Form No. 12 "Information on the number of diseases registered in patients living in the service area of a medical organization" is compiled by all medical organizations included in the nomenclature of medical organizations providing medical care on an outpatient basis. The form is not filled out by medical organizations that consult these patients, as well as organizations that provide emergency care. The form includes information about all cases of acute diseases, once a year information about the main, background, competing and concomitant chronic diseases, diagnoses registered on the basis of a Discharge epicrisis and cases of death of the patient from the disease are included. However, the main difficulties in analyzing information on Form 12 are related to the lack of data on complications of the underlying and concomitant diseases, information about exacerbations of chronic diseases, information about diseases with ICD-10 codes marked with an asterisk (*) and suspected diseases. Form No. 14 "Information on the activities of departments of medical organizations providing medical care in inpatient conditions" (annual), which contains the following blocks: 1. the composition of patients in the hospital, the timing and outcomes of treatment, 2. the composition of newborns with diseases admitted at the age of 0-6 days of life, and the outcomes of their treatment; 3. -surgical work of the organization, which is analyzed according to the following indicators: the number of operations performed in the hospital, units, of which: operations with the use of high medical technologies (TDC), the number of operations in which complications were observed in the hospital, units, of which after operations with the use of TDC, those operated in the hospital died, of which died after operations performed with the use of TDC.
Keywords Osteoarthritis, HTMC – high-tech medical care, high medical technologies (HMT), temporary disability, disability, epidemiological prevalence, HTMC costs
