Introduction. Hardware techniques in the correction of aesthetic defects have been used for a long time. In the last decades of the twentieth century, physiotherapeutic methods were seriously studied by dermatovenerologists who worked in the field of improving the appearance of the patient. Currently, there is a need for the organization of medical cosmetology services, taking into account new techniques; new devices; requirements for the premises in which the equipment is used; for the equipment itself; for the education of doctors. Purpose: to study the modern problems of the organization of the use of hardware in cosmetology clinics. Materials and methods. The Beauty and Health Clinic "New Life LLC" (Samara) was used as the research base. The clinic has been providing outpatient medical care in the cosmetology profile for more than 15 years, taking into account modern licensing requirements. The analysis of the experience of the Clinic, a review of regulatory documents and scientific literature on modern problems of the organization of the use of hardware in cosmetology clinics. The content analysis method and the analytical method were used. Results and discussion. The regulatory framework for the development of hardware cosmetology continues to evolve. It is necessary to take into account the use of medical devices in cosmetology while ensuring the quality and safety of medical care. The beauty and health clinic "New Life" uses the developed "Checklist for monitoring compliance with the rules in the field of circulation of medical devices" when providing medical care in the "cosmetology" profile. The checklist controls 20 processes of using both technical means and injectable medical devices. Control over the use of medical devices is carried out in accordance with technical and (or) operational documentation, taking into account the production, manufacture, storage, transportation, installation, commissioning, application, operation, repair, disposal or destruction of medical devices; as well as training of medical organization employees in the use, operation of medical devices. Conclusions. In Russia, a regulatory framework has been created for the use of hardware and technologies in cosmetology, there is a list of powers of health care organizers in the field of safe use of medical equipment, the qualification characteristics of specialists providing cosmetology services have been determined. At the same time, the list of unresolved problems remains the lack of separation of powers in the field of the use of medical equipment between doctors and secondary medical personnel; inconsistency in most cases of technical and operational documentation for cosmetic equipment; insufficient information about the medical device in the registration certificate of Roszdravnadzor; lack of clinical recommendations on cosmetology, including including hardware methods for the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with aesthetic problems.
