Introduction. The study of the current state of the issue of medical technologies and pharmacotherapy used for treatment of vitiligo has shown its limitations in many aspects, including the use of drugs. In this regard, the development of new drugs characterized by multifunctional action by combining proven in the dermatological practice of active substances is relevant. In order to solve this problem, the first step is a detailed study and content analysis of the structure of the existing range of medicines used in the treatment of vitiligo. Aim: to conduct a content analysis of the range of registered medicines used for the treatment of vitiligo, to show the expediency and general approaches to the development of combined preparations of multifunctional action. Materials and research methods. The materials of the study were data from the State Register of Medicinal Products Authorized for Medical Use in the Russian Federation. The analysis was carried out by content analysis of preparations of various pharmacotherapeutic groups used for treatment of vitiligo on the following main characteristics: trade names (TN) and international generic names (IGN), countries of origin (CO) Domestic and foreign manufacturers, forms of release, proportion of active substances, anatomical-therapeutic-chemical classification (ATC-group). Results and discussion. Conducted content-analysis of medicines for treatment of vitiligo revealed a limited 28 TN range. The drugs are presented by 4 ATC-groups (antioxidants, glucocorticoids, calcineurin inhibitors and photosensitizers) and are based on only 9 active substances (clobetazole, fluticasone, dexamethasone, superoxide dismutase, vitamin E with retinol, tacrolimus, pimerabbitmus, furocumarins of Ammi fruit great). Among the drugs used to treat vitiligo, glucocorticoids (50%) and calcineurin inhibitors (10.7%) have the highest demand, and among them clobetazole (71.42%) and tacrolimus (90%), respectively. All active substances are widely distributed in medicinal forms, primarily for external use (dominant position - ointments (22%)) and for oral administration (mainly in capsules (26%)) [1]. Conclusion. The content analysis showed that vitiligo is mainly treated with glucocorticoids and calcineurin inhibitors, with no melanin-containing drug or its prodrug as a means of substitution therapy. On the basis of these and other conclusions, it is shown that it is advisable to expand the range of drugs used for the treatment of vitiligo by creating combined preparations with polyfunctional pharmacotherapeutic properties.
