Relevance. Diseases of the circulatory system contribute the main treasure to mortality from non-communicable diseases, which leads to significant socio-economic losses. Worldwide, an increase in the prevalence of diseases of the circulatory system and cerebrovascular diseases is predicted due to demographic aging of the population and the scientific development of diagnostic and therapeutic measures. The purpose of the study. To study the level and dynamics of mortality of the Omsk region population as a result of cerebrovascular diseases for the period from 2012 to 2021. Materials and methods. The analysis of the level and dynamics of mortality of the population of the Omsk region as a result of cerebrovascular diseases, comparison of the data obtained with federal and district values, a comparative analysis of mortality of urban and rural population of the Omsk region as a result of cerebrovascular pathology was carried out. In the statistical processing of the material, traditional methods of calculating intensive indicators, analysis of the dynamic series, the average error of the indicator, assessment of the reliability of changes were used. Results. In the Omsk region for the period from 2012 to 2021. the negative dynamics of the mortality rate as a result of cerebrovascular diseases is recorded, manifested by higher values in comparison with federal and district data and an increase in the mortality rate throughout the entire follow-up period. Significant differences in the level and dynamics of the mortality rate of the urban and rural population of the Omsk region are noted, manifested by higher values for the urban population, but unexpressed changes in coefficients, and lower values among the rural population, but an annual increase in the mortality rate as a result of cerebrovascular diseases. Conclusion. The study and evaluation of data on the dynamics of mortality of the population as a result of cerebrovascular diseases allows us to characterize the medical and demographic component of the development of the region in the context of the implementation of health development programs
