Summary:
Relevance. The development of lean technologies in healthcare is limited to the improvement of linear processes: organization of the work of the laboratory and diagnostic service; reducing the queue of patients for surgical intervention; improving the processes of medical examination of the adult population, etc. Changes introduced into new projects reduce the effectiveness of old projects, which leads to a contradictory internal policy of a medical organization. There is no systematic approach to solving the strategic tasks assigned to the clinic. Goal. The article is devoted to the analysis of the integration of such management concepts as lean production and sustainable development of a medical organization providing primary health care to the population. Materials and methods. The study of the sustainable development of medical organizations was conducted in the period from 2012 to 2023. The work used data from a sociological and expert survey of managers (2012-2018), used the author's methodology to assess the potential for sustainable development of medical organizations, to analyze a medical organization that implements the concept of lean manufacturing, as well as comparative modeling, general logical methods and techniques. Results. Comparing the concepts of sustainable development and lean manufacturing, we came to the conclusion that these management approaches are closely integrated with each other. At the same time, management methods of lean production can account for 57% when implementing a sustainable development strategy. From the point of view of the activities of a medical organization, the concept of sustainable development is more ambitious than lean manufacturing, due to the integration of diagnostic, treatment, support and administrative processes. In the studied medical organization, due to the integration of the concepts of lean manufacturing and sustainable development, the medical and organizational efficiency of both individual processes and the organization as a whole has increased. In project management, integrity and a single direction have appeared that contribute to the achievement of the long-term goals of the organization. Findings. Thus, the application of the concept of lean manufacturing contributes to the sustainable development of the city polyclinic. To achieve the strategic goals of the organization, the scale of the implemented changes and the consistency of processes are important. The concepts of lean production and sustainable development are closely integrated with each other, however, the sustainable development model is more ambitious. It allows you to build all the processes in a single direction to achieve the effectiveness of the medical organization in the long term.
