Abstract. One of the integral elements of the assortment of pharmacy organizations is the mineral waters group of products. Due to the fact that the use of mineral water provides for a doctor's consultation, information about mineral waters requires analysis and evaluation of the quality of its main sources. Aim: To study the sources of information about mineral waters regarding their use in medical practice and the structure of this information. Material and methods. The methods of content analysis, comparative analysis, graphical and structural-logical methods were used in the study. The objects of the study were regulatory legal acts establishing requirements for the treatment of M V, clinical, methodological and educational recommendations for medical specialists; publications of the scientific electronic library of the RSCI. Results. The absence of a single resource for finding up-to-date information on the use of mineral waters for therapeutic and preventive purposes has been established. Conclusion. It is necessary to develop a resource for finding up-to-date information on the use of drinking mineral waters for therapeutic and preventive purposes, its structure, criteria and requirements for the information included in it.
