ANALYSIS OF THE MORBIDITY OF THE ADULT POPULATION ATTACHED TO A MEDICAL ORGANIZATION

Summary:
Relevance: An important area of regional policy in the social sphere is concern for the preservation and strengthening of the health of citizens. The high prevalence of non-communicable chronic diseases significantly reduces public health indicators. A qualified analysis of morbidity data and the conclusions formulated on its basis allow making correct management decisions that contribute to the better performance of a medical organization, more accurate planning and forecasting of both therapeutic and preventive measures, and drug provision. The development of timely interventions helps optimize the provision of medical care to patients and, accordingly, improves their quality of life. Purpose: conduct an analysis of the morbidity of the adult population attached to a medical organization. Material and research methods: The analysis of statistical data on the primary and general morbidity of the adult population living in the service area of the regional budgetary healthcare institution «Ivanovo Clinical Hospital named after Kuvaev», Ivanovo for the period from 2020 to 2022. Results of the study: The dynamics of the general and primary morbidity of the adult population has been established, its structure has been determined, and the increase in morbidity has been calculated. During the analyzed period, there was an increase in primary and general morbidity (by 11.9% and 3.5%, respectively). Respiratory diseases occupy a leading place in the structure of primary and general morbidity. Conclusions: The analysis of the morbidity of the attached population to the medical organization indicates an increase in both the primary and general morbidity of the population. The rate of general morbidity among the attached population is 2.9 times higher than the primary one, which indicates a greater amount of accumulated chronic non-infectious pathology and indicates the need to develop comprehensive measures to prevent it.
