Summary:
Introduction. The group of specialized food products (SFP) includes many heterogeneous goods – dietary supplements, food products for baby food, etc., united by a community of functional purpose. A subgroup of SFP is enteral nutrition products (ENP) used to provide nutritional support to patients. At the same time, some goods with characteristics inherent in ENP are registered as other subgroups of the SFP. This makes it difficult to assign a ENP when providing nutritional support and the process of identifying the ENP as a purchase object. Therefore, the task of studying the characteristics of the commodity nomenclature of ENP is relevant. Aim. The article presents the results of studying the characteristics of the commodity nomenclature of the SFP, including the characteristics of the commodity nomenclature of the ENP as one of the subgroups of specialized nutrition. Materials and methods. The basis for the formation of the information base was the information included in the certificate of state registration (CSR) on the SFP, registered in accordance with the established procedure, as of 05.01.2023. To achieve this aim, the methods of content analysis, mathematical and statistical processing of data, and the graphic method were used. Results and discussion. According to the Unified Register of Certificates of State Registration, the SFP commodity group includes 70,136 types of goods. More than 95% of them are dietary supplements, food products for baby food and for nutrition of athletes. The largest number of SFP types were registered in 2015 and 2022, the smallest – In 2020. 57.3% of CSR were received in Russia, the rest – in the territories of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. ENP accounts for 0.3% of SFP types, most of which were registered in 2017, 2020 and 2022. 70% of CSR on ENP was obtained in Russia. Only 11% of ENP species are registered by the Russian manufacturer. Content analysis of CSR on ENP made it possible to identify commodity characteristics that can be recommended to describe enteral mixtures in the Catalog of goods, works and services to meet state and municipal needs. Conclusion. The SFP commodity nomenclature includes more than 70,000 types of goods, and is generally updated quite stably. A decrease in the number of registrations of new types of SFP in some subgroups may indicate a decrease in import rates and a shortage of developing industries in Russia. ENP accounts for only 0.3% of all registered types of SFP. 95% of ENP types are produced by foreign manufacturers and the Russian manufacturer JSC Infaprim. Commodity characteristics of ENP can be used as the basis for their description as procurement objects supplied to meet state and municipal needs, which will prevent the risk of falsification of these goods.
Keywords commodity nomenclature, enteral nutrition, specialized food products, product characteristics.
