Summary. Monitoring the epidemic situation regarding tuberculosis in children is important both from the point of view of assessing the epidemic situation in the conditions of new constituent entities joining Russia and from the point of view of monitoring and evaluating measures to prevent the transmission of tuberculosis infection and tuberculosis disease. Purpose: to analyze the current epidemic situation regarding tuberculosis in children. Methods. We analyzed information from official statistical observation for the Russian Federation as a whole and by region. Results. After a decrease in the incidence of tuberculosis in 2013–2020 for children 0–14 years old and from 2010 to 2021. for children 15–17 years old, in 2021 and 2022 there is a stagnation in the incidence rate of children 0–14 years old at the level of 6.7 per 100,000, and for children 15–17 years old at the level of 12.2 and 12.8 per 100,000. After a decrease in the incidence of children 15–17 years of contact with a patient with tuberculosis in 2007–2020 (from 466.9 to 143.8 per 100,000), the rate increased to 183.0 in 2021 and 187.9 in 2022, which may be due to impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The highest incidence is observed in children from household contacts with tuberculosis patients (194.9 per 100,000).
