Summary:
Actuality. Chronic kidney disease in the elderly rarely occurs in isolation from other chronic conditions and can often be a marker of these conditions themselves. Cognitive impairment, dependence on daily activities, comorbidities, and life expectancy, geriatric status characteristics, are important factors to consider when deciding which treatment tactics to choose for elderly patients. These data determined the direction of the study. Purpose. To study the features of geriatric care in kidney pathology. Material and methods. At the first stage of the study, we studied the prevalence of various stages of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Elderly patients with different stages of CKD, as well as those without CKD, were included. The number of patients ranged from 34 to 41 in the group. To evaluate the effectiveness of this approach, we selected elderly patients with different stages of CKD, who made up control and main groups. Results. n elderly patients with CKD, the prevalence of geriatric syndromes such as malnutrition, hypomobility, cognitive deficits, and sarcopenia is prevalent. Factors of aggravation of the geriatric status of elderly patients with CKD from stage 3A are microalbuminuria (F=0.87, p
