Summary:
Conduction. The level of development of high-tech medical care is an indicator of the socio-economic development of any country. The availability of the necessary knowledge in the field of the regulatory framework, types of medical care, the list of profiles, the correct and timely formation of a package of documents by doctors plays a crucial role for patients. In turn, the timeliness of receiving this type of care depends directly on the awareness of patients. Goal. Study the awareness of patients and doctors regarding knowledge about high-tech medical care. Materials and methods. Relevant information was collected through a survey based on specially designed questionnaires. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 305 patients and 308 medical specialists. The questions that made up the questionnaire made it possible to assess the respondents awareness based on their age, place of residence, level of education and social status, as well as their place of work, position, length of service and availability of a qualification category. The results of the study showed that among patients who received high-tech medical care, only 56.7% have an idea of this type. Among doctors, 60.4% are familiar with the criteria for referring patients. Only 45.5% of the surveyed doctors are familiar with the legal acts regulating the provision of high-tech medical care. At the same time, 2/3 of them noted a lack of clarity in their interpretation. Discussion. The data obtained during the analysis made it possible to assess the presence of an insufficient level of awareness of medical personnel both in the field of knowledge of the legal framework governing the provision of HTM and its application in their practice, and awareness of this type of medical care in General. At the same time, the level of awareness of patients was even lower, despite the fact that they were provided with this type of medical care. Patients have no idea about the financial resources allocated by the state for its provision. In addition, they do not see any differences between specialized medical care and high-tech care. Conclusion. The sample study made it possible to formulate key provisions aimed at raising the level of awareness of medical personnel by introducing several classes on urgent problems in the organization of high-tech medical care into the cycles of professional retraining and advanced training. For patients, it is important to increase the volume of providing visual materials in an accessible form using Internet resources and mass media. These measures should be aimed at increasing knowledge among the population regarding the provision of this type of assistance.
