Summary:
Introduction. Modern challenges to health care system require high professional level of health care managers, since the effectiveness and efficiency of the activities of health authorities and organizations depend on their competence. Training is an important tool for the formation and development of professional competencies for building a career path for a specialist. For these purposes, a technology for the integrated assessment of competencies has been developed. The purpose of research: to develop a technology for the integrated assessment of competencies of health care managers based on the requirements of the professional standard "Specialist in the field of health care and public health" (hereinafter - Professional standard). Materials and methods. In the study we used systematic approach, logical analysis, generalized domestic and foreign experience in assessing competencies, including those of health care managers, based on 170 sources, analyzed, grouped and statistically processed the results of a survey of students of additional professional education programs in the specialty "Health Care Organization and Public Health".(116 questionnaires). Results and discussion. The technology for the integrated assessment of the competencies of health care managers was developed on the basis of the requirements of the Professional Standard and the competence model of a manager in the field of health care. Based on the data obtained, a scoring scale for the level of professional competencies was developed, including 7 levels of competencies (from low to expert), and the method of graphically depicting a specialist’s profile of competencies was used to make decisions about appointment to a position, inclusion to the reserve and building of individual trajectory of vocational training. Conclusion. The proposed technology for the integral assessment of competencies is an effective tool for determining the level of professional competence of specialists / managers in the healthcare sector, which is necessary for the effective work of a medical organization, a tool that allows you to form an individual trajectory of professional development.
