Introduction. In Russian healthcare, medical areas are being optimized to save on the use of budgetary funds in the context of global economic instability. To plan the needs of the population in various types of dental care around the world is to study of the population’s morbidity. It is relevant to determine the population's need for the required number of specialists, to increase coverage of the prevention of the stomatological diseases, to develop specific approaches to planning primary health care, which will allow us to look for ways to solve problems in the future that will help reduce the incidence of oral diseases, salivary glands and jaws. Aim. Analysis of changes the morbidity rates of oral diseases among the adult population in the Kursk region. Material and methods. Statistical data of the territorial compulsory health insurance fund of the Kursk region on the morbidity of stomatological diseases in the adult population according to the ICD-10 codes (K00-K14) were used. The ranking places of individual districts of the Kursk region are characterized by the structure of the prevalence of dental diseases in 2021 and 2022. With the help of a comparative analysis, the districts of the Kursk region were identified with the highest and lowest incidence rates according to the ICD-10 codes: K02, K03, K04. The districts of the Kursk region were ranked according to the rate of increase / decrease in the most common dental diseases for 2021-2022. Results and discussion. In the structure of morbidity of the adult population with stomatological diseases of the Kursk region in 2021 and 2022. in Glushkovsky, Lgovsky, Sovetsky, Kurchatovsky and Medvensky districts, the highest proportion of pulp and periapical tissue disease (K04) was established and the lowest proportion of dental caries (K02) was recorded. Other diseases of hard dental tissues (K03) did not occupy leading positions in the structure of the prevalence of dental diseases in 2021 and 2022. The highest rate of increase in the prevalence of dental caries (K02) is observed in Solntsevsky, Oboyansky, Belovsky, Fatezhsky, Kurchatovsky districts. The highest rate of increase in the prevalence of diseases of the pulp and periapical tissues (K04) was registered in the Kurchatovsky, Manturovsky, Timsky districts of the Kursk region in 2021-2022. Conclusion. The obtained data can be used for planning primary health care for the adult population with dental diseases.
