Summary:
Background. The problem of HIV infection, tuberculosis and viral hepatitis is relevant for territories with low population density (TLDP), which fully include the subjects: the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Magadan Region, the Kamchatka Territory, the Nenets Autonomous District, the Chukotka Autonomous District and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District and partially a number of territories of other subjects of the Russian Federation
Purpose: to study the epidemiology of socially significant infectious diseases (diseases caused by HIV, tuberculosis and viral hepatitis B and C) in TLPD.
Methods: official statistical materials were studied. A comparison was made of the indicators reflecting the epidemic situation and the state of medical care for HIV infection, tuberculosis and viral hepatitis in TLDP in comparison with other subjects of the Russian Federation (with the exception of TLDP).
Results and discussion. In TLDP, there is a more pronounced positive dynamics of the epidemic situation for tuberculosis (a faster decrease in the incidence and prevalence with high detection results: in TLDP, compared with other regions, there is a higher proportion of patients who are actively detected (2022 - 65.6% and 54.5 %), and less - detected when seeking medical help (2022 - 33.4% and 42.0%) and post-mortem (2022 - 1.0% and 3.4%); p
