Summary:
Summary. Cerebrovascular diseases have become widespread among various population groups, representing a high threat to life. In this regard, in conditions of demographic trouble, it is urgent to study the situation on the dynamics of morbidity and the organization of the provision of emergency medical care to patients. Purpose of the study. To analyze the incidence of cerebrovascular diseases in the Vologda region and the organization of medical care for patients. Methods. An analysis was made of the overall incidence of cerebrovascular diseases among the population of the Vologda Oblast in comparison with the indicators for the Russian Federation and the North-Western Federal District according to the data of form No. 12 of the federal statistical observation in dynamics for the period from 2017 to 2021, presented in statistical collections [9-12 ]. Analytical, statistical (descriptive statistics), descriptive statistics were used in the process of work. For data processing - MS Office Excel 2010 spreadsheets. Results. For the period from 2017 to 2021 the rate of decrease in the incidence of cerebrovascular diseases in the Vologda region amounted to 3.9%. In the structure of diseases of the cardiovascular system in the Vologda region, cerebrovascular diseases account for 15.8%. At the same time, the region has a rather high incidence due to strokes, not specified as hemorrhage, where the rate exceeds the regional and Russian levels by more than 3 and 4 times, respectively. Despite the decrease in the incidence of cerebrovascular diseases in the region, the demographic situation is characterized by a negative growth due to a decrease in the birth rate and an increase in mortality. A three-level system of medical care is organized in the region; in case of acute disorders of cerebral circulation, specialized medical care is provided to patients in the conditions of primary vascular departments and the regional vascular center. However, in the Vologda Oblast, the situation in the organization of medical care for patients is quite complicated: high morbidity and staff shortages and geographical features of the region create problems in organizing the provision of emergency medical care to patients. Conclusions. The high incidence of cerebrovascular diseases in the Vologda Oblast can be traced against the backdrop of an unfavorable demographic situation and a shortage of personnel in the region, which indicates the need to solve problems in organizing the provision of emergency medical care to the population, which is especially important for remote and hard-to-reach areas of the region.
