Summary:
The aim of the study was the analysis of normative documents in ultrasound diagnostics and their compliance with modern requirements. The issues of provision of high quality diagnostic ultrasound and rational use of ultrasonic equipment are highly relevant for practical public health of Russia. Ultrasound diagnosis takes up to 80% of all studies on x-ray diagnostics. However, the regulations for the ultrasound examination has not been revised since 1991, which considerably complicates the work of specialists in view of the high workload in connection with the modern requirements for the medical documentation of the emergence of new diagnostic equipment. It is necessary to develop normative documents regulating labor regulation for doctors of ultrasonic diagnostics, to improve methodological approaches to the design of regulatory documents at Federal and regional level management. A mandatory condition must be methodical support of regulatory documents, including the identification of conditions under which carried out the design standards and recommendations for flexible their application in health care practice.
