Introduction. Since 2018, the pilot project "Assessment of the effectiveness of children's recuperation" has been implemented in the territory of the Russian Federation. The pilot project involves organizations of children's recreation and their recuperation in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The main objectives of the project are: the spread of positive practices of informational and methodological support for the activities of organizations of recreation and recuperation of children, prompt and retrospective identification and correction of risk factors for reducing the effectiveness of recuperation, optimization of calculation procedures for individual and collective assessment of the effectiveness of recuperation. The tasks of the pilot project are carried out through the implementation of a cross-platform software tool "Evaluation of the effectiveness and organization of children's health improvement" developed by Novosibirsk Research Institute of Hygiene in 2019. Objective. Summarizing the results of the pilot project " Assessment of the Effectiveness of Children's Recuperation" in the summer season of 2023. Materials and Methods. The materials were the output reports of the software tool "Evaluation of the effectiveness and organization of children's health improvement" containing the results of measurements of anthropometric and physiometric indicators of children conducted twice per shift in stationary suburban, sanatorium camps and day camps in 2023. Results. The results of anthropometric and physiometric measurements of 68,881 children were included in the database for the summer health improvement season of 2023. High efficiency of health improvement, in general, according to the results of the summer health improvement season of 2023, was observed in 79.6% of children. Lack of health improvement effect was noted in 3.2% of children. The key reasons for assigning children to this group were the lack of positive dynamics during the health improvement shift in the indicators of vital capacity of lungs and hand strength. Conclusions. More than 50% of children staying in recreation and health improvement organizations had a change in height-weight index towards optimal by the end of the shift, which undoubtedly indicates a favorable influence of organized recreation factors on children's physical development. The analysis of the dynamics of indicators-criteria of health improvement efficiency revealed statistically significant differences in the indicators of children who rested in different types of organizations.
