Introduction. In recent years, there has been a steady increase in the incidence of ARVI and influenza. Complications that arise after such illnesses can lead to serious consequences for the body, including death, which indicates the need for timely and high-quality provision of medical and medicinal care to the population. In order to study the current state and availability of drugs to the population, it is necessary to conduct a marketing analysis of the pharmaceutical market of antiviral drugs in the Russian Federation (RU) and the Tyumen oblast (TO). The purpose of the study is to conduct a marketing analysis of the antiviral drugs market in the Russian Federation and the Tyumen oblast. Materials and methods. The study was conducted using methods of content analysis, analytical, structural, graphic, mathematical and computer technologies. The research materials included the state register of medicines as of 01.01.2023, data from the World Health Organization, scientific literature from national information portals, such as Cyberleninka, eLibrary and foreign: PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, price lists of wholesale pharmaceutical companies and statistical data on the assortment of retail pharmacy organizations in TO. Results and discussion. The group “J05A Direct-acting antivirals” was analyzed, which includes 80 international nonproprietary names (INN) and more than 500 trade names (TN). It has been established that Russia is the leader in the number of antiviral drugs produced. When analyzing the List of Vital and Essential Drugs (VED), it was revealed that the largest number of TN drugs are represented in the subgroups “J05AB Nucleosides and nucleotides” (28%) and “J05AF Nucleosides and nucleotides - reverse transcriptase inhibitors” (24%). In the analysis of the drug formulations (DF) presented in the study group, it was found that tableted DF occupy the leading position in the market - 61%. We have revealed that the leading legal entity (the owner of the registration certificate) is the Joint Stock Company "Pharmasyntez" (Russia) - 38 TN. Analysis of the wholesale segment showed that the most complete range of antiviral drugs is presented by the wholesale company JSC NPK Katren and accounts for 78% of registered drugs in the RU. An analysis of the retail level showed that the widest range of drugs in the group “J05A Direct-acting antiviral drugs” is presented at Rigla LLC and accounts for 56% of registered drugs in Russia, however, antiviral drugs used for the treatment of acute respiratory viral infections, influenza and Covid-19 in the Tyumen oblast at lower prices are presented in the pharmacy organization Zhivika LLC. Conclusion. Thus, a marketing analysis of the current state of the market for antiviral drugs in the Russian Federation and Tyumen oblast revealed a wide variety of drugs included in the ATC-group we studied, but the drugs reach the region in insufficient quantities. Wholesale organizations represent in regional markets from 50% to 78% of registered drugs in SRM. Pharmacy organizations sell to consumers only half of the items from the available range of antiviral drugs of the study group registered in Russia, which requires further in-depth research and development, including drugs that are represented in the smallest percentage on the market.
