ANALYSIS OF THE APPLICATION OF ACTIVE LEARNING METHODS (BUSINESS GAME) IN THE PROGRAMS OF ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL EDUCATIONT

Summary:
Today, active educational technologies have become an integral part of additional professional education programs for medical professionals. Their use can significantly improve the learning process and make it more effective. Active methods such as business games, project activities, discussions and collective discussions are being introduced into continuing professional education programs and open up new opportunities for learning educational material. Introduction: аctive learning methods, such as business play, are an important part of continuing professional education (EE) programs. They are actively used to develop the skills of DPO students and expand their professional competencies. Purpose of the study: to analyze the effectiveness of the introduction of business games into the training programs for students of the DPO at one of the departments of the branch of the Military Medical Academy in Moscow. Materials and methods of research: this article discusses the introduction of business games into advanced training and professional retraining programs in the specialties "Organization of nursing activities", "Management of nursing activities" at the department (management of nursing activities) at the branch of the Military Medical Academy in Moscow in the period from 2020-2023. The study was conducted using the Kolmogorov–Smirnov statistical method. Results: statistical processing was carried out using IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0 (Developer - IBM Corporation). When processing the research results, the Kolmogorov–Smirnov parametric statistical method was used. The average pretest score by year is p=0.001, normal distribution, statistically significant. Average final testing score, p=0.001, normal distribution, statistically significant. Discussions: the analysis of statistical data shows that the integration of business games into the educational process of students of vocational training programs for advanced training and professional retraining significantly affected the level of academic performance measured by the average test score. As a result of the introduction of business games, a noticeable increase in this indicator was recorded, which indicates the positive impact of this training method. Conclusions: the game-based learning method is an effective tool for the development of professional skills and the formation of norms of behavior, decision-making processes and innovation. When using business games for educational purposes, students are given a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in various aspects of professional activity and realize not only theoretical knowledge, but also their practical application in a real medical environment.
