Introduction. In 2023, the Russian Ministry of Health approved the first clinical recommendation on the cosmetology profile, developed by the Russian Society of Dermatovenerologists and Cosmetologists for the group of diagnoses of "Other atrophic skin changes". Also in 2023, by order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the standard of primary health care for adults with other atrophic skin changes (diagnosis and treatment) was approved. The first experience of using these documents is important for the activities of cosmetology clinics. Purpose: to study the organizational aspects of the application of clinical recommendations and standards of medical care in the field of cosmetology. Materials and methods. The main base of the study is the Beauty and Health Clinic "New Life LLC" (Samara), the head of which is the chief freelance cosmetologist of the Ministry of Health of the Samara region. The clinic has many years of experience in providing outpatient medical care in the field of cosmetology. Based on the analysis of the experience of the Clinic and other cosmetology medical organizations in Samara, a review of scientific literature and regulatory documents studied the modern organizational aspects of the application of clinical recommendations and standards of medical care in the field of "cosmetology" on the example of the group of diseases "Other atrophic skin changes". Methods such as content analysis and analytical analysis were used. Results and discussion. The regulatory framework for the implementation of clinical recommendations and standards of medical care in cosmetology continues to develop in the country. The characteristics of medical services for atrophic skin changes, referrals to specialist doctors and other aspects in clinical recommendations and the standard of medical care are detailed. However, there are still many unresolved issues related to increasing the level of reliability of evidence and the level of persuasiveness of clinical recommendations. Inconsistencies in the equipment of cosmetology clinics with equipment standards are revealed. There are discrepancies in the name of medical cosmetology services in everyday practice and the nomenclature of medical services. Disadvantages of maintaining medical records are noted. These problems need to be solved by further developing the regulatory framework for the provision of medical care, as well as optimizing organizational, managerial and methodological approaches to improving medical care in the field of cosmetology. Conclusion. In connection with the entry into force of clinical recommendations and standards of medical care in cosmetology, the heads of cosmetology and aesthetic medicine clinics need to realize the importance of organizational measures for their implementation based on ensuring internal quality control and safety of medical activities in accordance with the procedures for providing medical care, rules for instrumental and laboratory research. The first experience of applying clinical recommendations and standards of medical care in cosmetology reveals quite a lot of tasks that need to be solved when organizing medical care in the field of cosmetology.
