In the article considers 34 antiseptics for the treatment of acute respiratory infections of the throat and oral cavity in the form of sprays and aerosols and 11 antiseptics in the form of a solution for external use. The advantages and disadvantages of these dosage forms, indications and contraindications, data on the possibility of using medicines during pregnancy and lactation are examined. We systematized information on the main active components of medicines used in sprays, aerosols and solutions for external use. We summarized information on the effectiveness of the active components of drugs, including on the basis of independent clinical studies. We analyzed the assortment of the market for antiseptic drugs (sprays and aerosols, solutions for external use) of the Republic of Belarus, assessed the price availability and calculated the number of doses required for a fiveday course of therapy for adults. In this work we paid attention to provision of professional and quality pharmaceutical assistance.
