The relevance of this study is due to the need to solve the problem of complex preservation and improvement of physical and mental health of the population in modern conditions. Objective: to analyze the results of new research in the field of studying the mutual influence of physical and mental health of the population of foreign countries, as well as proposed preventive measures to prevent poor physical and mental health. Materials and methods. As a result of a search in the international PubMed database based on the keywords "physical and mental health, medical care" in 2023, about a thousand systematic reviews, meta-analyses and articles on this issue were found. After the final selection, 27 sources published by researchers from 24 countries were included in the analysis, with a significant part of the research carried out by international teams of scientists. The authors evaluated the quality of these reviews, meta-analyses and articles and obtained new analytical data on the problem under study. The results and their discussion. The article presents the results of the analysis and generalization of 27 systematic reviews, meta-analyses and articles published in 2023, which describe the features of the relationship between physical and mental health of various groups of the population abroad: systemic studies, studies involving children, adolescents and young people, studies involving the elderly population. A number of preventive measures to prevent poor physical and mental health of citizens abroad have been formed and presented. Conclusion. The scientific and practical achievements currently available abroad in the field of studying and optimizing the relationship between physical and mental health are revealed. Based on the available data, recommendations and measures for the prevention of physical and mental health disorders are systematized.
