Introduction. Analysis of dental health prevention programs: domestic and foreign experience. This scientific article summarizes the domestic and foreign experience in creating programs for the prevention of dental health in order to identify the best practices and approaches. Objective. To summarize the world experience in creating programs for the prevention of dental health. Materials and methods. The work used data from the PubMed and eLibrary databases, available in full-text format. Based on the search results, articles published in the last 5 years (from 2019 to 2023 inclusive) were selected, and if there were duplicate articles by the same authors, the latest publications were selected. Data on effective dental health prevention programs were used for the analysis. Results. The article presents an overview of Russian and foreign literature. Analyzing the world experience and the implementation of dental health prevention programs, it can be concluded that the main directions in this area relate to programs for children and adults. Discussion. Programs for children have already been presented by a significant number of initiative projects over the past 5 years, however, domestic dentists should actively involve online platforms to improve information and educational work and alert the target audience. This could be the key to reaching children and their parents more widely. With regard to adult programs, it is worth paying attention to two important areas. First, the introduction of telemedicine represents significant potential for improving awareness and accessibility of dental care. Secondly, corporate dental health programs can be successfully implemented among the working-age population, providing effective prevention in the workplace. Conclusion. For further development of dental health prevention programs, it is necessary to take into account the potential of online platforms, actively implement telemedicine and continue the development of corporate programs to improve the health of the adult population. Regular updating and adaptation of programs to modern requirements and technologies are key to the successful prevention of dental diseases and to increase public awareness of the importance of oral care.
