Primary localization in the general frame of disease of malignant growths in the Russian population is the skin - 12,5 %, with melanoma - 14,2%. In 2015 in Russian Federation have been revealed 10 236 cases of diseases of skin melanoma for the first time that has compounded 12,3 % from all skins malignant neoplasms. In Northwest feder-al district the disease index was above on 38,8% than the rate in the country, the lowest - in the North Caucasian federal district (an index more low on 44,2 % than the rate in the country). Middle age of patients with for the first time in life the positioned diagnosis skin melanoma in 2015 was 61 year; for men - 60,4 years; for women - 61,5 years. The general lethality of patients with skin melanoma has compounded 4,2%. The proportion of patients identified actively in 2015 from number of patients with for the first time in life the positioned diagnosis skin mel-anoma has compounded only 23,2%. The indicator of neglect in skin melanoma in Russia in 2015 has compound-ed 21,3%. In 2015 the contingent of patients, by which radical treatment has been finished from number revealed for the first time, is not high (79,1 %). Rate of mortality from melanoma in 2015 was 2,51 on 100 thousand of population. In the Crimean federal district this index was above on 58,6 % than in Russia, the lowest index was observed in Far East federal district (more low on 15,9% than in Russia).
