The modern system of domestic health care is focused on improving the methods of quality management of medical care and optimization of drug supply. In recent years, developments based on the use of quality management principles in the activities of medical organizations have become widespread. Given the new management approaches, drug supply is part of the treatment and diagnostic process and has a direct impact on the quality of medical care. The topic of circulation of controlled group drugs (CGD) in a medical organization is particularly relevant: narcotic, psychotropic, potent and other drugs subject to subject-quantitative accounting (SQA). Control measures established by numerous regulatory acts in relation to such medicines complicate their use in practical healthcare, which is often the reason for decreasing the availability of controlled drugs for patients. The aim of the work is to standardize the process of circulation of controlled group drugs in a medical organization using the process approach of quality management system. The method of work consists in the analysis of various sources of information in order to identify the problem of availability of controlled group medicines for patients and search for new management solutions in the organization of drug supply with controlled group medicines using the process approach of quality management system. The main results of the work: as a result of the conducted research the process approach to the organization of drug supply is considered, and also the order of standardization of the process of circulation of controlled groups of medicines from the point of view of quality management system is determined.
