HEALTH STATUS ANALYSIS OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS, LIVING IN REPUBLIC OF SAKHA (YAKUTIA)

Summary:
Introduction. The state of the health of children and adolescents is an important indicator of the well-being of the country. The study of trends in morbidity among children and adolescents during a certain time period is the main interest, as this is a reflection of the general well-being of society and the direction of its future development.
The purpose of the study. To analyze the health status of children and adolescents of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for the period of 2015-2022, compare with similar indicators of the health status of children and adolescents of the Russian Federation.
Materials and methods: This study analyzed the data of the Territorial body of the Federal State Statistics Service for the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). (To FSSS for RS (Y) for the period of 2015-2022, using Rosstat data.
Results: In dynamics from the period of 2015-2022 in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), there is an increase of primary disease incidence among children aged 0-14 years (by 13%) and adolescents (by 12.6%). The comparative analysis of primary disease incidence of children 0-14 years old for 2022 showed that in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) the level of primary incidence is 42.5% higher compared to the Russian indicator and higher for the following categories of disease: diseases of the digestive system by 87.5%, diseases of the respiratory system by 52%, neoplasms by 28.7%, eye and appendages of the eye by 23.1%, skin diseases by 29%, COVID-19 by 190%. The level of primary disease incidence of adolescents in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is also 19.4% higher compared to the Russian Federation. As for adolescents of the republic, their primary disease incidence is higher in the following categories of diseases: blood diseases by 129.4%, diseases of the digestive system by 57.8%, diseases of the respiratory system by 29%, eye diseases by 17%, diseases of the nervous system by 8.4%, diseases of the blood circulatory system by 6.4%, COVID-19 by 112.6%.
Conclusion. The primary disease incidence of children and adolescents in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is higher than similar indicators in the Russian Federation, which must be taken into consideration forming a regional model of medical care.
