Introduction. Reducing mortality is a fundamental goal of domestic healthcare, to achieve which it is necessary to increase the coverage of the population with preventive measures. To increase the effectiveness of dispensary supervision, training of doctors on medical care for diseases of the peripheral arteries has been organized, the article is devoted to assessing the feasibility of which.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching doctors according to the program of additional training in conducting dispensary observation of patients with diseases of the peripheral arteries.
Materials and methods. A survey of doctors in St. Petersburg medical organizations in 2023 was conducted in two stages. At the first stage, 200 doctors were interviewed to assess the level of accessibility of medical care for diseases of the peripheral arteries and ways to improve it. Taking into account the opinion of the respondents, a training program for doctors "Fundamentals of diagnosis and treatment of peripheral artery diseases" has been developed and implemented. At the second stage, 123 trained doctors were interviewed to assess its feasibility, as well as 603 patients about their satisfaction with the organization of dispensary supervision after the introduction of new approaches to its implementation. Extensive and intensive indicators were calculated, and an analysis was carried out using the Spearman rank correlation method.
Results. The survey of doctors confirmed the need to increase knowledge about the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral artery diseases (47.1 per 100 respondents).
