Summary:
Relevance. The development of radiological diagnostics methods plays a key role in improving the quality of medical care. High-resolution computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging technologies are becoming increasingly important both for clarifying diagnostics and for early detection of diseases at the preclinical stage. Modern diagnostics technologies must provide an accurate, quick and comprehensive assessment of the patient’s health status, which dictates the need to comply with the equipment standards of medical organizations.
Оbjective. To analyze the equipment of medical organizations computer and magnetic resonance imaging scanners in federal districts and in the Russian Federation as a whole for 2019-2023.
Materials and methods. Data from federal statistical observation form No. 30 “Information about a medical organization” for 2019-2023 were analyzed, intensive and extensive indicators were calculated. The work used statistical and analytical methods.
Results and discussion. It is shown that in 2019-2023, the provision of computer and magnetic resonance imaging scanners per 10 thousand population increased throughout the Russian Federation as a whole; there are differences in the indicators for federal districts. A high proportion of operating CT and MRI devices in medical organizations was noted. There is a trend towards an increase in the share of devices with a service life of more than 10 years from the total number of computer and magnetic resonance imaging scanners, while this figure in departments providing care in outpatient settings is lower than in medical organizations as a whole.
Conclusions. The increase in the provision of medical organizations with computer and magnetic resonance imaging scanners, the increase in their share in outpatient departments indicates an increase in the availability of studies using CT and MRI devices in primary healthcare. During the implementation of the national project “Healthcare”, the amount of modern diagnostic equipment in medical organizations increased, which made it possible to improve the quality and availability of medical care for the population.
