Summary:
Introduction (relevance). The problem of forming a healthy lifestyle and responsible attitude to one's health remains one of the main problems in modern society, in connection with which one of the federal projects in the national project Demography is devoted to strengthening public health. The importance of the influence of the Internet on the formation of a healthy lifestyle has been studied by many authors. However, at present, the influence of information that the population can receive on issues of forming a commitment to a healthy lifestyle via the Internet remains unstudied, and this study is due to the growing popularity of Internet technologies and their potential in the field of forming a healthy lifestyle. Аim: To study the opinion of medical workers on the influence of Internet technologies on the formation of a healthy lifestyle Materials and Methods. The study used statistical and sociological methods. To study the opinion of medical workers on the influence of Internet technologies on the formation of a healthy lifestyle, a questionnaire was developed that included 25 questions and contained a block of questions about the medical worker and a block of questions about his opinion on the influence of Internet technologies on the formation of a healthy lifestyle personally for him and for patients. 68 medical workers took part in the test survey. Results. The views of the medical professionals who participated in the survey were nearly evenly split regarding the reliability of internet sources for information about a healthy lifestyle: 52.9% considered the information reliable, while 47.1% deemed it unreliable. The majority of surveyed medical workers (54.4%) found that social networks were the most effective source for obtaining information about a healthy lifestyle, while 39.7% prioritized internet search engines, 33.8% trusted information from medical professionals, 27.9% trusted information from friends, colleagues, or relatives, and 25.0% considered websites of medical organizations the most informative. Discussions. The study confirmed the results of previous studies by Chestnov O.P. and co-authors, who found that the introduction of mobile health into national health systems will allow for a new level of public awareness of health preservation and promotion measures. However, the impact of information that the population can receive on issues of forming a commitment to a healthy lifestyle via the Internet remains unstudied at present. Conclusions (conclusion). Two-thirds of respondents believe individuals should actively seek information on a healthy lifestyle independently, while many of those surveyed feel it should be the responsibility of specialist doctors, general practitioners, or nurses to inform the public. Almost half of the medical workers recognize the internet as a valuable source of information about a healthy lifestyle.
