Summary:
Specialists of SPPS TulGU developed questionnaires consisting of 30 questions. The students of the first year of various faculties of the Tula State University (560 in 2015, 587 in 2016, and 620 in 2017) took part in the survey. The purpose of the survey is to assess the initial level of knowledge of first-year students on problems of dependent behavior. It can be argued that the ongoing anti-drug propaganda in the youth environment is insufficient to form an elementary knowledge base and a stable attitude towards dependent behavior. Based on these data, it can be seen that only slightly more than half of the students surveyed have a formed position regarding the use of narcot-ic substances.
Keywords dependent behavior, prevention, anti-drug propaganda, smoking, alcoholism, drug addiction, level of awareness, stu-dents level of knowledge.
