To implement the research program, a Google form was developed in the format of an electronic document, including 40 questions in order to collect the necessary information, which was subject to subsequent processing, analysis of the results obtained and the formation of conclusions.
Results and discussion. Among the surveyed residents of the Kursk region, including 52.7% of young people and 47.3% of the elderly, awareness of the term "healthy lifestyle" is 93.7% out of 100 possible. This indicates a high level of awareness of the population about the essence and principles of healthy lifestyle. When identifying the respondents' attitude to a healthy lifestyle and its role in improving public health, 93.2% of respondents gave an affirmative answer. Also, the vast majority of 87.1% who currently do not follow the principles of a healthy lifestyle would like and are ready to comply with them in the future.
