Summary:
Relevance. The incidence of women with temporary disability not only reduces the level of health, but also causes great economic damage, which consists of the costs of providing outpatient and inpatient care, sanatorium treatment, disability benefits and a reduction in production due to absenteeism. The purpose of the study. To study the dynamics of the parameters describing the level and structure of morbidity in women with temporary disability in the region in 2020-2022. Materials and methods. The analysis of the level and structure of morbidity with temporary disability in women and men living and working in the Belgorod region was carried out on the basis of data from the Federal Tax Service No. 16-VN "Information on the causes of temporary disability" for 2020-2022. The calculations of indicators of temporary disability in cases and in days, the average duration of one case of temporary disability, the number of cases (days) of temporary disability per 100 employees, and the determination of the structure of temporary disability were carried out. Data from the State Report "On the state of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population in the Russian Federation in 2023" and the Report "On the state of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population in the Belgorod region" were also analyzed. The level of morbidity with temporary disability was assessed in accordance with the scale proposed by E.L. Notkin. Results. It was found that during the study period, the indicators of the number of cases and the duration of one case of temporary disability per 100 employees in the Belgorod region were higher than in the Russian Federation. The number of cases of temporary disability of women per 100 employees in the Belgorod region increased by 29.6% from 31.28 cases in 2020 to 40.54 in 2022. The average duration of temporary disability among working women tends to decrease and amounted to 14.07 days in 2022, which is lower than the corresponding indicator for the male population (14.83 days), but exceeds the average for the Russian Federation (13.1 days). The number of days of temporary disability among women (681.38 per 100 working women) is higher than among men (601.33 per 100 working men). Occupational morbidity rates in the Belgorod Region are higher than in the Russian Federation, mainly due to the registration of occupational diseases among workers in the mining and metallurgical industries. Conclusions. The identified unfavorable trends in the parameters of morbidity with temporary disability in the female population of the Belgorod region are the basis for developing programs aimed at reducing the impact of occupational hazards, strengthening the health of women working in industrial enterprises, taking into account the specifics of their work and stimulating a healthy lifestyle.
Keywords morbidity with temporary disability, occupational morbidity, working population
