Staffing of medical organizations with specialist physicians has a significant role in ensuring the quality and accessibility of medical care. In modern demographic conditions, the role of dentists, and especially of dental surgeons, is increasing. The demand for dental surgeons is also increasing due to the introduction of modern methods of dental care, including the use of implants. In this regard, the analysis of staffing of medical organizations with medical personnel is relevant, as it allows to assess the adequacy of staffing levels and the need for specialized medical care.

In 2017, 100% availability of doctors of the specialty under study was observed only in three constituent entities of the country, while by 2023, 100% staffing of medical organizations with dentists - surgeons is registered in eleven constituent entities of the country.
