The research includes analysis of the legislature and a survey of specialists in Kursk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Lipetsk and Tambov region. It found that regional laws forms a base for complex educational programs, but without guarantees of its official support. Only 46,3 – 52,8% of specialists raised their qualification in prevention of social diseases among young people. There is no common educational space in this topic. The results of the research forms a base for interdisciplinary educational projects in medical educational institutions.
