THE ROLE OF THE TRAINING AND METHODOLOGICAL CENTER OF A MEDICAL ORGANIZATION IN THE CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIALISTS WITH SECONDARY MEDICAL EDUCATION

Summary:
Today, modern medical organizations provide various types of medical and non-medical care. The most numerous group of medical personnel is the mid-level medical personnel, who carry out activities and manipulations in accordance with their professional competencies. One of the priority tasks of the national project "Healthcare" is to provide medical organizations of the healthcare system with qualified personnel. In this regard, a necessary condition for successful modernization and innovative improvement of the healthcare industry is the continuous professional development of specialists with secondary medical education, including the acquisition and application of modern knowledge and skills in practical activities.
The aim. To substantiate the role of the educational and methodological center of a medical organization in the continuous professional development of specialists with secondary medical education.
Materials and methods. The participants of the study were representatives of the mid-level medical personnel (n=231) working in the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution No. The research method was a questionnaire survey, statistical analysis of data, including methods of systematization and graphical presentation of data. The final stage was the identification and assessment of the attitude of mid-level employees of the medical organization to the improvement of professional competencies.
Results. Problems related to the lack of knowledge of mid-level medical personnel in planning advanced training were identified. Often, nurses' choice of advanced training programs is influenced by the number of hours for its completion. The second important problem is the lack of skills in working with medical students and graduates who came after completing the educational institution.
Conclusion. The creation and implementation of a training and methodological center in a medical organization is extremely necessary for the improvement and development of human resources in modern conditions. Based on the research results, practical recommendations were proposed for modernizing the methodology for the formation and development of a training and methodological center in a medical organization, and the opinion of nurses on the need for advanced training was analyzed.
