In recent decades the world community has faced global issue that has not only medical, but also a huge socio-economic importance – the pandemic of chronic non-communicable diseases. Kidney diseases occupy an important place among them because of the high prevalence, a sharp decrease in the quality of life, high mortality of patients. Decrease in renal function, according to modern concepts, is an independent and important cause of rapid progression of pathological changes in the cardiovascular system. Purpose of research. To evaluate the preventive nephroprotective program in the course of rehabilitation of patients in a polyclinic with one of the most common renal pathologies encountered in outpatient practice – chronic pyelonephritis. Under our supervision there were 124 outpatient patients aged from 29 to 72 years, 78 women, 46 men diagnosed with "secondary chronic pyelonephritis", with a slight renal dysfunction (GFR 51-89 ml/min). During two years of outpatient observation (2013-2014) all patients were divided into two groups, comparable in sex and age.
