The multidimensionality of the concept of «access to health care» in the context of current social and demographic trends requires a comprehensive approach to its enhancement with emphasis on new technologies for managing production processes in conditions of scarcity of resources. The purpose of the study: Summarize and systematize data from domestic and foreign research on current approaches aimed at improving the accessibility of healthcare for the population. Materials and methods. The research base compiled data from scientific articles on improving access to health care published in PubMed and eLibrary for 2020-2024. The analysis was carried out using a content-analysis method, theoretical and analytical research methods Results. The most common technologies to increase the availability of medical care, which are similar in the direction of changes, but differ in the scale of implementation and specificity of the conditions for carrying out medical activities. Depending on the methods of management impact, the main directions of increasing access to medical care, based on system and process approaches to implementing changes, principles of reducing territorial inequality in access to health services are highlighted; Balancing the load between different categories of health care workers; artificial intelligence technologies and patient flow management. Conclusion. The results allow to conclude that resource-saving approaches are highly relevant and promising for ensuring access to health care, and require a more in-depth study of the issue in scientific research on this topic
