Summary:
Introduction. The mental health of the younger generation is one of the most significant medical and social problems of modern society. In the context of the growth of psychoneurological pathology in children, a comprehensive assessment of the staffing of child psychiatric services is necessary for the development of a strategy for strengthening human resources. Purpose: to analyze the personnel potential of child psychiatric services in the Russian Federation and federal districts in the period 2015–2024. Materials and methods. An analysis of data from Form No. 30 for 2015–2024 was carried out. using descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing methods. Absolute and relative growth, linear trends (R²), as well as the significance of differences in security indicators (average Russian level and inter-period dynamics) were assessed using Student's t-test (p 0.05). Both in the Russian Federation and in its federal districts, a steady decline in the proportion of child psychiatrists with a qualification category is observed. Overall, the indicator decreased across the country from 58.4% to 36.3% (-22.1 percentage points; R²=0.85). The largest decrease was recorded in the Central Federal District (-31.6 percentage points, R²=0.92), Ural Federal District (-26.0 percentage points, R²=0.76), and Siberian Federal District (-24.4 percentage points, R²=0.68). By 2024, only the Northwestern Federal District maintained the indicator level of 50%. The lowest indicators were observed in the North Caucasus Federal District (13.5%), and the highest in the Volga Federal District (47.0%). Conclusion. To ensure the service's sustainable development, priority areas of personnel policy should include overcoming territorial disparities, promoting specialist certification, and consolidating the positive trends of the past two years.
