The world is moving from a post-industrial society to a digital economy. Russia has taken measures to develop the digital economy in General and digital healthcare in particular. Digital innovations in healthcare open up new prospects for the industry. Currently, medical information systems have been developed and are successfully functioning in a number of cities of the country, telemedicine technologies, cloud solutions are being improved, and an intelligent business environment in the field of digital health is being formed. The author examines the conceptual approaches to the development of digital medicine in the country, analyzes the models and concepts of digital health care adopted in other countries, considers the main directions of digital transformation of the Russian health service, which is most fully ready for «open innovation».
