CORRECTION OF COGNITIVE AND MOTOR DISORDERS IN PREVENTIVE GERONTOLOGY

Summary:
The problem of cognitive disorders in modern gerontology goes to the leading positions, complicating the treatment and prevention of concomitant diseases, including motor disorders. In connection with this topical issue is the search for new non-pharmacological ways of correction of cognitive and concomitant motor disorders. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the combined cognitive-motor program with the mechanism of procedural training in combination with cognitive training among patients with moderate cognitive impairment. Materials and methods. The study was attended by 203 patients aged 45 to 75 years with moderate cognitive impairment, who received drug-motor therapy with inclusion in the Cognitive training control group, with the evaluation of the dynamics of disorders with the help of brief Scale of study of cognitive state and scale of motion activity and stability of Tinetti. Results and their discussion. The improvement of cognitive and motor sphere abilities in the control group on the background of the combined program with inclusion of cognitive training is reliably shown: after 12 months of research among the elderly in the control group the average score on the MMSE scale was higher compared to the comparison group – 26,84 ± 0,16 versus 26,39 ± 0,13. In the motor sphere is shown the increasing improvement of motor activity and stability in 12 months among the patients in the control group: the elderly age-33,84 ± 0,44 against 32,39 ± 0,39 in the comparison group, the average age - 37,28 ± 0,27 against 36,35 ± 0,26 (at p
